Ola! My name is Candace Gustine. I was born and raised in Mississippi. After one year of local college, I left the comfort of the south and moved in with the Yankees to attend the Univeristy of Akron in Akron, OH. My four years in Akron have left me with a novel of sweet memories and life long friends.

My current residence is Memphis, TN where I have lived in the area for over four years. Memphis is quite an interesting place.

My favorite thing about Memphis is the live music that can be found in any part of town on any given night of the week - which is great for Lindy Bombs. Even Nashville - Music City - can't compete.

My least favorite thing - crime. Memphis is either #1 or #2 for crime in the USA. This can be quite scarey, although I'm generally not scared - just annoyed.

By day -- I am a Graphic Designer for Sedgwick Claims Management Services, Inc. My daily tasks include any type of design project that is needed to propose our services to prospective clients and any in-house design needs. I've made everything from mock blueprints and airline tickets to banners/signs, brochures, logos, and advertisements.

By night/weekend -- I put on my wings and turn into Lindy Butterfly (a.k.a. a swing dancer). You can find me dancing in Memphis quite regularly. I've also been consistantly spotted in Nashville dancing (but shhhh, don't give my secret cover away). And when finances allow, I flutter around to various cities on the weekend to dance at exchanges/workshops. My favorite events have been Bluesalicous (Memphis, TN), Lindy Focus (Ashville, NC), SoFlex (South FL), and Southern Belle Swing Bash - Atlanta, GA.
